Dan Wedel and Sons Auction
Dan was raised up around auction barns. According to his mother he started
auctioneering when he was still in the stroller. His father opened a sale barn
in Andover, Ks. in 1953, the year Dan was born.
He now has handed down the tradition to his two sons. Jeremy who is 21, and
Boon who is 20. They too have been around sale barns all of their lives. They
have worked around other auctions, first being the ring men and now they are
also the auctioneers.
